Metaversal Astral Terrain Report: September 23rd to 28th

As Fall is right around the corner, I felt it incumbent on me to invite you to a thunderstorm which is scheduled to take place outside Metaversal Lightcraft this Lunar Cycle at dusk. Will there be fireworks? No, there will not be fireworks, but there’s a young Christian girl (a bastard daughter of Darcy, if Reverend Timijen is to be believed) who will read from the Bible for tips and cheese. Cosmic windows open, allowing us to more readily choose how we can participate in this evolutionary experience. In September, we have a chance to chew some of the karma that we bit off when we decided to be on Earth in 2020. As the month begins, the tensions of late August will have us more than ready for a cosmic break, and that’s what we get in the Full Moon in Pisces of Tuesday, September 1. This Full Moon’s rich aspects favor spiritual and material breakthroughs. These include a grand earth trine, supporting prosperity; an opposition within the trine that forms a kite, giving us perspective to use its promise; a fortunate mystical rectangle (two trines interlaced with two sextiles), and a T-square, fueling courage and priming us to act.

This year in the Metaverse so far, has been an intensely evolutionary experience. We can trace some of the intensity to March, when Mars the challenger joined the line-up of Saturn the Holder of the Secrets of Time and Space, Jupiter the Expander, and Pluto, the Shadow planet of Evolution. The pandemic became public; and this alignment ended up dominating our collective moment, taking the entire world on a dark stretch of Pluto’s ride through demanding Capricorn. Everything seems more urgent than ever. Too many of us feel pushed to our limits and are ready to do something drastic to rectify whatever situation gets our goat. However, Pluto’s triggerman Mars crosses swords with authoritarian Saturn throughout the entire month of September, thwarting our best efforts and forcing us to cool our jets. Mars in impulsive Aries turns retrograde on September 9 for two months, intensifying our survival instincts and amplifying our assertive and aggressive behavior. Nevertheless, it's more important than ever to focus on the long-term strategy, even when the temptation of immediate gratification is strong. It’s the sacrifice the Lightcrafty will always make. The visionary Pisces Full Moon on September 1 pits our creative imagination against mundane reality. Communication is the key to resolving tensions, but we must be daring and willing to break with convention to find answers to the questions of these times. The pragmatic Virgo New Moon on September 17 rewards focused thinking. The more specific our intentions are, the greater the potential rewards. Paradoxically, although small is beautiful, big changes are likely if we can stay on task. Meanwhile, two of the three heavyweight planets end their retrograde phase, revealing a loosening of the ties that continue to bind us to the past. Journeying Jupiter turns direct on September 12, followed by austere Saturn on September 28. The feeling that progress is finally within reach only exacerbates the frustration of the Mars retrograde and its lingering square to restrictive Saturn. But we can see forward movement when Mercury enters fair-minded Libra on September 5, followed by gracious Venus entering dramatic Leo on September 6. Energy is flowing outward, although not as fast as we wish. The Sun's shift into Libra on September 22 marks the Autumnal Equinox, encouraging us to seek balance in relationships, thoughts and all interactions. We lose a bit of our sense of fair play because we want results once Mercury enters extreme Scorpio on September 27.

All in all, we could be pleased with the little movement we experience, but a series of irritating quincunxes pepper the second half of the month. Short fuses encourage quick reactions to salve our petty annoyances and deep assaults on our values. But there's no quick and easy way out of the current mire. We must pay attention and keep reminding ourselves not to fall victim of circumstantial entrapment. Energy management is critical because we can't just deny our anger; we must find ways to keep our emotions flowing while practicing patience.

Sex Workers are energized, with Sun and Mercury in Virgo, sign of the Sacred Whore, the mediums of choice are service, daily efforts, and work. Sun and Mercury will be making trines to Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto, harmonizing their manifestation. Two fantastic lunations bring these trines into relief and make the opportunities more personally accessible. Not that things will suddenly become easy. Going against his impulse to rush forward, Testicular Mars will turn retrograde. This will tend to diminish the impact of our direct actions. This planet of haste also squares Saturn, bringing another unintended pause. Cheer up boys, things may not be easy, but along with its frustration, the Mars retrograde offers a chance to explore our own sacred masculine energies, so that by November 14, when the red planet goes direct, we’ll rise into late fall with a new level of empowerment. Consider attending Johannes’ Karma Yoga/Anger Management Workshops (every Tuesday night forever). As the Metaversal Month winds down, responsible Saturn and fortunate Jupiter, the two planets most related to success, will be going direct. This will begin a release of the tensions related to the lockdown and make us feel once again like players in the path of our own destiny. Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn are encouraging you to become more conscious so you can work towards self-mastery and self-empowerment. It’s a good idea to cooperate because these alignments tend to force change. You can’t negotiate with Pluto – you either let go of old relationships, situations, and ideas, or get your arse handed to you. If you don’t cooperate, Pluto will grind you into the ground and Saturn will help. The more you resist and try to hold on or control events, the harder you’ll make it for yourself. As the saying goes: Let go or be dragged. Or even: Let go or lose your fingers! If you try to hold on to what’s ending, your life will be centred around an old, dead structure and this can only lead to exhaustion and depression. Holding on to the past is really an attempt to do the impossible – to stop life from changing. You need to grieve for what’s dying and let it go. Then your energy will return and new life will start to sprout. Pluto destroys what needs to end and Saturn rebuilds and gives form to new life. But don’t try to rebuild until Pluto has finished his business of purging the old. If you try to get ahead of yourself, you’ll only hit a brick wall and have to start again.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

The Day of Mercury in the Week of Fire. Logic, intuition and passion mingle on a day that favors various activities. A square from Mercury to structured Saturn stimulates serious thinking. We can review the intentions we established at yesterday’s Equinox or, with Moon reaching her Second Quarter this evening, at last week’s New Moon.Sweet Venus makes a quincunx to mystical Neptune, fueling romance and compassion and enlivening our creative senses. Work communications can seem magical, and social connections can end up supporting us in our goals. Organize documents, make a list of contacts and follow up on them, mix business with pleasure, launch a promotion, share a fun lunch, meet someone new, or find a practical strategy for a creative or altruistic intention. At 4:16 pm (7:16 ET), Moon enters practical Capricorn, and the atmosphere becomes more business-like. Capricorn is a sign of paradoxes. It is the last of the earth signs, and yet it makes its appearance at Winter Solstice, as the fiery Sun is newly rising for the year. In the Northern Hemisphere it is the sign of the deepest winter, and yet the days have already begun to grow longer. It is the sign of initiation into the spiritual life, and yet its concerns are more practical than any other sign. It is focused on the perfection of structure, but only so that it can move beyond that world of form. The symbol for Capricorn is the mountain goat, with the tail of a fish, another paradox. Give me the mountains. Give me the sea and build a mighty tower especially for me. Fill the tower up with food, the kind goats love to eat, send a couple maidens with soft hands to rub my feet. This shows that the depths of the unconscious are the foundations which Capricorn uses to build its structure, to climb its own particular mountain, to meet its unique challenge. For Capricorn must be rooted in the true depths of motivation in order to build firmly and enduringly. In Sagittarius we found our truth and validated it through sharing. At 6:55 pm (9:55 ET), Moon reaches her Second Quarter, commencing Water Week. The Sabian symbol for 1-2 Capricorn says:

THREE ROSE WINDOWS IN A GOTHIC CHURCH, ONE DAMAGED BY WAR. The necessary realization by any individual making a violent use of collective power that it will lead to the inevitable destruction of some of the values ensuring group-integration.

Rose windows are related to Mary, the divine feminine element integrated into Gothic temples. The damages of war can be seen as the effects of patriarchy on the female psyche and presence in spiritual practice. As we apply today’s suggestions to review the intentions we’ve been seeding and working for, may we honor our need for healing and empowerment.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

The Day of Jupiter in the kabbalistic World of Water. Projecting Light Specific Blue and facing West, vibrate this azure deluxe into your Second Chakra along with the mantrum: EE-BE-DA. Jupiter is all about allowing ambiguity, contradiction, and movement. IT isn't about integration. It helps the ego become more flexible. By Jove, life isn't about staying calm and balanced, but rather about keeping complexity and drama and everything else alive and in dynamic flow. Jupiter is the largest of all the true planets, its mass greater than the rest of them combined. Astrologically, Jupiter is the planet of expansion, growth and optimism. Known as "The Greater Benefic," it symbolizes good luck and fortune. In the ancient Indian language Sanskrit Jupiter is called "guru" or teacher. This fits its association with the higher mind, philosophy, truth and religion. Perhaps Jupiter's good fortune derives from the larger perspective it provides on life in general and our own circumstances. You may choose to sleep in this morning. Not that it’s a bad one, but cardinal tensions can make for frustration. By late tonight the influences will have turned harmonious and productive. An early opposition from mental Mercury in Libra and assertive Mars in Aries favors independent mental work over interactions with others. Take extra care to avoid unnecessary arguments. This aspect is great for journaling, taking a bold look at opposing viewpoints, preparing for a legal case or debate, and editing with an eye to objectivity. With Mars retrograde, it also helps us look at our underlying motives and reaffirm or redirect them. Moon in practical Capricorn favors productivity, though its morning square to wounded healer Chiron can foster guilt or emotional blackmail. At 10:20 am (1:20 pm), the airwaves are somewhat freed by a trine from Moon to liberating Uranus in prosperous Taurus, favoring progress in business or financial expansion. Today’s fortunate numerology of 6 accents this gift. If you’re up to it, you may wish to work into the night, when Moon in Capricorn joins kind Jupiter and sextiles compassionate Neptune. Start a promotion, make creative headway, make visualization materials, write to the angels.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

Invoke blessed Haniel, just before dawn or 2 hours after sunset and behold, a court of photosynthetic Angels who make this place inside your chest cavity a Paradise, performing tantric intercourse in magick towers and lush subterranean caves, opening your Lionheart chakra, a breeze like yellow silk on your naked skin. She really gets my donkeys up onstage. I love the way she plays with my expectations. Like a little dragon-faced hen bursting with tinsel and frayed at the wrong end. We are caught in a cosmic tug of war which was exacerbated yesterday when communicator Mercury opposed confrontational Mars. Differences of opinion seem insurmountable as passionate statements lead to heated arguments, fueling open conflict and emotional angst. Meanwhile, red-hot Mars is retrograding back toward a stressful square with restrictive Saturn that is exact on Tuesday, making it nearly impossible to express ourselves without running into the walls of the status quo. The aspiring Capricorn Moon encounters exaggerating Jupiter, domineering Pluto, and sobering Saturn, while squaring Mars and Mercury, triggering a series of tumultuous storms. Fear of the unknown stirs up anger which can be misdirected in this volatile atmosphere. Although battle lines might already be drawn, establishing common ground reveals positive solutions that can benefit all. A community can be strengthened by diverse opinions if respect is brought to the negotiating table. Successfully fighting on behalf of our convictions starts with an intelligent argument and persuasive charm. However, we have our work ahead cut out for us if we truly wish to transform our world. A champion of the disenfranchised, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said, "You can disagree without being disagreeable." Moon is in productive Capricorn, and the best time to use it is early morning. After her early sextile to imaginative Neptune, at 7:29 am (10:29 ET), Moon connects with Venus. Creative work goes well, as do contacts with others for pleasure, altruism or business. At 9:09 am, things take a darker turn as Moon joins intense Pluto, followed by hard aspects to tough guys Saturn and Mars. For most of the day, we may feel like we’re in Dickens’ Bleak House. Save key contacts for tomorrow morning or Monday. Research ancestors, or something related to inheritance. Read self-help literature, assist an elder. This somewhat bumpy stretch ends when Moon goes VOC at 8:36 pm (11:36 ET) on a square to Mercury. At 11:08 pm (2:08 am ET), things finally lighten up when Moon enters congenial Aquarius.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

With a quincunx from sensual Venus to deep Pluto, Moon in sociable Aquarius may not be as innocent as she looks. With Moon in Aquarius we each open to our own light and let it shine for all. We learn that when we put light on any situation, we get light back. Our fear and misgivings were dissipated. In Capricorn we built the life forms to contain spirit. Now, in Aquarius, we can let that light of spirit shine through everything we do. Like electricity, the cosmos flashes through us, and we become conductors of divine messages, each in our unique way. As Aquarius enters, we feel the stirrings of individuality. Those stirrings can be symbolized by the groundhog, who emerges from his winter hibernation in February to check on his shadow. How do we cope with these new impulses for autonomy? Do we become aware that we cast our shadow wherever we go, and awaken to the world? Or do we remain oblivious of our impact and return to sleep? Luna trines Sun in Libra, strengthening our confidence, and her sextile to wounded healer Chiron offers opportunities for healing. We can apply them in therapy, conversation with a partner, or with inner permission to make joyful connections or meet someone new. Today’s mix is quite favorable for research related to: options for financial growth and budgeting, refinancing a home, an impending move, or relationship and career options. Also, we can fight for a cause related to women, learn a new dance, get a haircut or massage or rearrange the furniture. Avoid being fanatical, rebellious without reason, or getting into power struggles. This evening, exchange alternative viewpoints, brainstorm, enjoy a book. . I hope this isn't an ackward time to mention that the structural basis for all Light-specific work in the Metaverse is regular, disciplined connection to the No-Form, meditation, contemplation, what ever you want to call it, as long as it's deep. Supremely solitary in that heath of scrub. The Light-Specific state initiates itself with SOLITUDE, the gratifying element of being alone (if only for 20 minutes a day)... without which, true development is impossible. The point is to connect to your inner source of stability, the state of potentia, the No-Form, at least once a day. No-Form is not a goal or state of "spiritual arrival" (as some religions would have us believe), it is a highly practical, multi-purpose tool for dissolving our identification with the ego. If you want to play with us, this is the only rule. The foundation of our Lightcraft is built in Chaos, so you must maintain a firm foundation, or Chaos your life will be. Some of us need this connection four times a day (sunrise, true noon, sunset, true midnight). Some of us actually manage to do it four times a day. It is a choice you must make. I would do it for you if I could. Once a day is all that's required to maintain the Continuity function. Future generations of yourself will be glad this came to pass. The Lightcraft Academy , Yoga Ceremonial Magick, this astrology forecast, they all provide ritual technology for Self initiation. But the key word here is Self. D.I.Y

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

Mercury the messenger enters deep Scorpio and our thinking becomes deeper, more intuitive and penetrating. This makes a great combination with Moon in Aquarius, sign of questioning. Together they create another great day for researching. Today’s numerology of 9 likes mysteries of spiritual transformation. Study or teach an esoteric subject, explore ancient mysteries, enjoy an usual conversation.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

Moon is VOC in Aquarius this morning—get a manicure or pedicure, or read for pleasure. We’re getting a major shift today as Saturn, planet of work, stations to go direct. We can begin to appreciate the inner strength we’ve acquired since last May, when the planet of effort turned retrograde. We probably want to apply that strength, but it just so happens that we’re on the doorstep of Mars’ square to Saturn, and for the moment, progress may seem complicated. At 8:34 am (11:34 ET), Moon enters sensitive Pisces. This placement facilitates introspection. We can provoke a pause to look at the area of our charts where Saturn moved from 1 degree Aquarius to 25 Capricorn. Can you identify some kind of repeat lesson that you went through and that has finally made you more self-reliant in the life areas related to the house or houses in those degrees, and any planets that you have in that path? Saturn lessons take a while to sink in, but when we finally get them down, bring a sense of achievement and relief. Write down your answer to the above question, and any related discoveries that come to mind. This will serve you as we move more fully into the Mars-Saturn square. Venus is involved with this aspect, through a trine to the former and a quincunx to the latter. This will soften the tension, as will loving, human interactions connections, which can be energized and fortified at this time. So check in and express your interest. The love planet’s energy also accents the already high compassion quotient of the Pisces Moon. Settle a dispute with friends or family or a struggle within yourself; cultivate empathy. Moon’s trine to Mercury in Scorpio facilitates communication, particularly for transformation, forgiveness, finances, a psychic enquiry or healing. We may dialogue with another or with our own inner self. Or write a proposal, agreement, or contract. Evening is good for romance, making love, or doing something creative. At 10:11 pm (1:11 ET), worker planet Saturn turns direct. We should not underestimate the power of Earthritual/ interlock/ and the focused magnetism of emotion. If we would like less catastrophic weather change, this is specifically the engineering we must learn. Like man, the weather participates or partakes of both Earth and Sky. These planet-wide weather up-heavals are literally and specifically, collective emotions. Only if we can emote collectively and braid our ecosystems with coherent emotion can we save our future. This is no arbitrary test for survival of our genepool. It is the perfect test. If we can learn to braid electrical space with the harmonics which love weaves, then we have passed the "ring pass knot" gate to the privilege of doing that same activity for the braid creation of star systems and galaxies with our similar but much unpacked and blossomed electrical bodies.

Love is not just a good idea, it's the Law

  1. Man, I am so freaking glad you are alive and apparently well now.

I missed your metaversal awareness and wordplay and noisewerks a whole lot, and every month you were gone, I hoped it was at some ashram somewhere and not something worse.

I need to see you in person again, damn the pandemic.
